Sponsorships are welcome for any amount from individuals and businesses (these can be tax deductible through Hospice) Last year we had several members who partnered with family and friends to be a sponsor which is an excellent way to support Hospice. Please contact Peggy Waye or Wayne Baldwin at the numbers listed on the flyer if you can donate items or be a sponsor. Benefits Hospice & Palliative Care Hot Time is the main GTSC charity event that we have each year (we support Beth Mitchell, Bunk Leach, Sunset Make a Wish, etc.) but this is our GTSC charity event...the proceeds will benefit Hospice which is such a wonderful charity...I am sure Hospice has helped (or touched) many in our shag club over the years. GTSC needs members to sponsor Hot Time with a monetary donation if they can...any amount will be accepted and appreciated...all sponsors will be posted on the banner at the DJ booth and will be honored all evening for being a sponsor. Please have members e-mail Peggy Waye @ pwaye7@msn.com or call Peggy @ 336-288-3651 to pledge to be a sponsor (or see me at the club to handle) We need sponsors to make this event successful and ask that all members who can... please be a sponsor....every dollar helps!! GTSC will have two divisions in the dance contest and the total prize money is $1,100 (which is great!)...we will pay out to 6 places in each division so there are lots of opportunities to win. We will have a Non-Pro and Amateur division...the Non-Pro will consist of the competitive dancers that always provide good support to this event...the Amateur division is wide open for any and all dancers who like to shag...again, this is for Hospice and we would like to see all dancers participate in this event for the fun and benefits it will bring to so many. We encourage these dancers to come out, dance their hearts out and have some fun with it! We will circulate the flyers to numerous shag clubs and encourage their members to join us for this wonderful event also. We have so many good couples out there who do not dance competitively but love to dance so this is chance to have fun with it and support a worthy cause in the process!
